HEC STIPENDIUM HUNGARICUM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2024-25
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) accepting applications from Pakistani and AJ&K nationals for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme for the academic year 2024-25. This program, initiated by the Hungarian Government, offers scholarships for Bachelor’s, Master’s, One-Tier Master’s, and PhD studies.
Academic Requirements:
Applicants currently enrolled in the final year of their degree programs or those awaiting results are eligible to apply.
Undergraduate and One-Tier Master’s Programs:Â
Applicants must have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)/Intermediate or equivalent by August 1, 2024. Failure to submit the final degree and transcript on the Stipendium Hungaricum application portal by this date will result in cancellation of the scholarship.
Master’s Programs:Â
Applicants must have completed a 16-year Bachelor’s or equivalent degree by August 1, 2024. The final degree and transcript must be submitted on the Stipendium Hungaricum application portal https://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/ by this date to avoid cancellation.
PhD Programs:Â
Applicants must have completed a 17/18-year Master’s/MS/MPhil degree or equivalent by August 1, 2024. The final degree and transcript must be submitted on the Stipendium Hungaricum application portal by this date to avoid cancellation.

Age Requirements:Â
There is no upper age limit. The minimum eligible age for undergraduate programs is 18 years

Document Attestation:Â
All certificates, transcripts, and degrees must be attested by relevant authorities such as the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) and HEC. Equivalence certificates for O & A levels from IBCC are mandatory for Bachelor’s and One-Tier Master’s programs..
Test Scores
- Applicants must provide HEC Aptitude Test (HAT) or University Studies Admission Test (USAT) scores. A minimum score of 50 out of 100 is required.
- Applicants who have taken the HAT or USAT test on or after January 1, 2022, may upload their test results on the HEC portal for consideration.
- Those who have not yet taken the test can register at HEC’s ETC portal. Applications without the minimum HAT or USAT test score will not be considered.

- Scanned copy of Medical Certificate
- Copy of ID and Passport
